I'll take some too!!! :) yeah, I feel so bleh lately..maybe it's the weather. The weather has been really odd here lately, it was dreary & rainy yesterday and today it was crazy sunny but COLD! They predict it'll be a nice cold temperature with a splash of some wet snow by halloween for sure. crazy huh? Today I picked up a package from the post office from my parents..and realized on the walk home that there are hardly ANY leaves on the trees. They're all on the ground!! *sigh* which is soo sad, since fall and the changing of colours went by so fast!

anyhoo..i'm just about starting up on midterms now and will be for the next 2 weeks. Oh, good news though, I end exams 'early'. I fly back on Dec.17. :)

Summerlicious sounds like an awesome idea! Let's do it. :) We'll go for a weekend lunch or dinner depending on your work/study schedules. I"m pretty much free all of July as I'll be pretty much bumming around downtown finding interesting things to do with my time. I'll probably be spending my time watching k-dramas :P, going to the bead store to buy beads to make earrings, or spending some time looking at my books & preventing my head from going to mush.

Anytime in July should be okay. I would prefer the July 14 weekend and beyond since I move July 6th but anything is fine with me. :) Check out the menus since most of them are up. AND if we end up eating downtown I can probably show you my place

I miss you guys! oh, and I've come to a decision. I think we're long due for a get-together which I think should occur BEFORE I move. I move July 6th. So...please mark down that we must get together and enjoy the last few moments of the house & pool before it is no longer mine.

However, if that is impossible we will have to postpone until July/August. But sooner rather than later since I will head for Alberta around August 20?

So..it turns out I'll be here in Toronto for all 4 months of the summer. Why you may ask? Because I've been recently accepted (on Friday) well more like offerred admission to the University of Alberta for their Masters in Speech-Language Pathology program. I'm going to go and take their offer. As much as I would love to go to Boston, this is the best choice for me. It's a bit less stressful and I don't have to take summer school in July. :)

okies..so I'll get to see you girls! but sadly no pool time. But we can go explore downtown or more like you can explore downtown with me?? amies..you can WALK to my apartment or have lunch with me sincei'm right next to st. mike's.

yah!! hm..yeah lots of prayers needed over here! I just found out I'm also on the waiting list for Western..but where I am I have no idea.

So..we'll just have to play it by ear and see where I end up. Going to boston would be awesome! however I'll be starting in May (next month!) but I'll be done May 2008. But if I go to western I won't be done until 2009! since it's a 3 year program.

Course selections were MESSED UP for accounting.. but it's a somewhat long story. In the end, I got the timeslots I wanted for accounting classes (ie, not 8:30 or 9am) but I didn't get into the "required elective" of Marketing... sooooo I'm taking ancient roman society instead. haha... it's like... whaaaat? but I looked.. and there weren't many courses that I wanted to take and could fit into my timetable... and anyways, I like history, so I think it will be okay. I'm still hoping to switch into marketing.. I emailed the prof for an override... *crosses fingers*

Working 9 hours/day... is SO tiring. Seriously, I have no idea how I get to work every morning-- I somehow drag myself out of bed... dress myself in clothes acceptable to the office atmosphere... sleep in the car while my dad drives to Finch... get on the subway.. sleep on the subway... HOW I wake up at/before Dundas (except that one time so far) is beyond me. Then it's off to Second Cup/Timmy's before I go to the office because I kind of feel like I'm wasting away into a pile of nothing if I don't get my morning caffiene...

*sigh* The earliest I've gotten home this week is today... at like 7:45? I leave my house in the morning at 7:45, so it's a full 12 hours...

Lil, that Second Cup deal... the coffee beans? Are they at -every- Second Cup? CUz I saw the sign about the biscotti/latte... hmm. Maybe I missed it because it's the morning when I'm there.. hmm.

oooh..I love it!! very nice! haha..and no flooble chatterbox so amy HAS to blog! :) blog amies..we haven't heard from you for a while! anyways..i'm sure you probably know but 2nd cup has this awesome duo of a belgian chocolate latte with a belgian chocolate marble biscotti! ooh and until Feb. 14th they're giving out belgian chocolate espresso beans.. :) hhm..yummies! but only until valentines day for the free gift..but I thing the duo thing lasts until march. So go get them girls! too bad we won't be able to enjoy it together. :(

AND then a couple days ago I had the scariest dream, where I did get my ears pierced, and it really hurt, and it got infected too...my ears turned black or something in my dream. It was very realistic girls!

hello my dears,

benita and I were talking, and we narrowed down sleepover dates... hopefully this works for you guys, but either the 29-30 (thursday-friday) or 30-31 (friday-saturday). we ruled out new years eve cuz new years day is on sunday, and we must wake up early for church. aaand benita might be going away with her family earlier. so yes, those are the days we figured out.

so I'm guessing that our sleepover will be our Christmas gathering...?

and as for our pre-Christmas gathering... umm... I dunno. I know we talked about dates earlier... was it the 22nd that we settled on? I have family dinners on the 21 and 22... but I'm okay during the day... well not on the 21st cuz I'm moving back that day... so 22? or 23 at night? cuz -then- I can go shopping during the day... much needed shopping... yes.

what else? well other than planning Christmas... it's been a crazy busy 2 weeks filled with projects and assignments... long, difficult projects and assignments... but at least it's done. This week... lots of stuff too... aaaand I'm planning my msn/email ban during exams again, probably from Dec. 11-21... so if you need me then, call... just a heads up I guess.

okay girls... I talked to amy, and she says she is done exams around the 19th, which means the earliest that we can meet up is when Lil and I are back, on the 21st.

Be, Lil and I ended up meeting at Second Cup to exchange presents close to the end of the holidays cuz we couldn't get us all together at any point over the 2 weeks... *sigh*

woah..so many postings all of a sudden. haha..yeah I've been crazy busy again. :P but aren't we all? Anyways, i'll pick up one of those remaining *hugs* and i'll leave one for amies. Although, I could've been really selfish and just grabbed both :).

Okay, so here are my plans for the next coming months. School, school and more school and then I go back to Toronto end of November. Um..november 24 was it? Anyways yup, not sure you guys remember but my parents are leaving me for Hong Kong on Nov. 25 and won't be back until beginning of Jan. So, that means I'm ultra free for Christmas. We should definitely hang out and have our annual sleepover. Exams end on the 20, and I'm returning home on the 21. On the 22, my cousin Janet is flying in from Boston, so at least I'll have some form of a family for Christmas. :)

back to working and feeling ultra drowsy. 'cept it's already 3pm and I haven't done anything. i'm soo sleepy. I wonder if coffee will work. Oh did I tell you guys what happened to my car? apparantly I mmust have driven on a nail or smething..'cuz after I drove in from Toronto, one of my tires just deflated over the span of 3 days. One of my friends found out on the Wed. So..hopefully it's just a leak and it'll get fixed soon. I count my blessings I didn't drive it anywhere and remember girls...check to see if your tires aren't going flat.. haha, I had no ideea.

Hello Coffegirls! :)

WELL it looks like our bloggy is slowly dying off again... due to school and midtermy things like that. but here I am!! :D I'm bacckkkk...

I have news... Second Cup's CHRISTMAS CUPS are out as of today! I just had a vanilla bean latte (corporate finance midterm on Friday, it's gonna be lotttttts of caffeine between now and then)... and I was just like... Christmas cup!! and the guy behind the counter gave me a strange look cuz I was actually quite excited haha... I like the colours... but the "second cup" part of it... it's not the oldschool symbol. SO I don't really like that part. But anyways, I cover it up with the cupholder thingie... :)

I've planned out what to drink for tomorrow and Friday too... haha... and I don't know why, but I will tell you guys now: today was vanilla bean latte, tomorrow will be a vanilla fudge brownie latte, and friday morning will be a english breakfast tea IF THEY HAVE ANY... last week they ran out! so I got royal blend.

aww, no need to worry about me and intoxication week... really. :) I went out with my coworkers last week (so I didn't -just- drink in my room) and it was good catching up... PLUS I cut my intoxication week short cuz it was just too hot to go out on Wednesday night... I was -melting-... and drinking makes me hotter (amz, ice cubes don't help, I'm still suuuperhot)... sooo this week after my quiz on tuesday will be Intoxication Week PART II! And be can come out drinking with me after her exam! :D

oh yes, Lil, benita and I would like to ask you out for Wednesday, August 10th, in the eveningtime, after dinnerish? :D LIKE ON A DATE!!! lol... keeping with last year's Coffeegirls Wednesdays... and it's my first Wednesday back... :)

helloo girlies!

Yeah..i guess i have neglected our bloggy for a while. haha, reading the blog is actually quite funny. I can read it at work, but typing up a lot of stuff at work is actually quite suspicious, so I tend not to do that unless I'm the only one in the office.

I can't believe i only have 3 more weeks of work left. Actually, yesterday we had a staff meeting and since they found out I ONLY have 3 weeks left, i'm starting to get a whole pile of work coming my way. I'm actually getting anxious that I won't finish it all. ahah, which is actually pretty surprising 'cuz usually its quite relaxing at work. I usually just attempt to finish as much as possible and then it moves on to the next day. We'll see how much i can accomplish in these next 3 weeks.

other than that..nothing much has been going on with me. I've just been working, relaxing, watching movies, prepping for my graduate record exams (which i've recently learned i HAVE to do on the computer :( which i didn't want to do..'cuz that givesyou eyesore and a LOT more nerve racking 'cuz you CANT go back and check your answers! ) , also been figuring out what to do for grad school...so i've been thinking of applying to the states. OOH and i can even apply for UBC now too! Imagine that, UBC. :)

but then i'll be soo far from you all :( so that would be a :) and a :(

well I just finished my accounting quiz and it was horrible... :s bahhh... I can drop my lowest, so I'm hoping it will be this one cuz yeahhh... it was pretty bad.

how are you doing? Well..the job is going quite well and I have one more week before I take a 2 week break & go to paris! I'll be leaving may 26th and i'll be back june 3rd. NOt long enough but it'll be good to get away :)

eeh..i can't wait to see ben & cheryl. amies and I have also been having our own dates, which include Gilmore girls & movie dates. So far we've seen The interpretor, A lot like love and just last night Monster in law :) since we're only free @ night it sort of limits the type of movies we want to see..mostly light hearted movies that don't involve much thinking :P

OHHH, I had my very first Caramel Coretto today... gooood stuff. I had expected it to be really sweet, but it wasn't... because everything is extra-espresso-y downtown. :)

Cheryl and Amy's April 12-- we met up after I got off work, and realized that we were both a little out of it... Amy didn't know what subway station I was talking about and I didn't realize that she was like a 10 minute walk away... no real need for subway, lol. And then I couldn't see Amy when she was walking towards me, I thought this woman with a pink bag was Amy... but hey, it's -possible-, you soooo could have a pink bag, amz.

We had dinner-- viet food, which amy already described to you... and no, we didn't have cake OR alcohol... (although I think it would have been SO appropriate for amy to have celebration cake and for me to have commiserating alcohol). I think Amy wasn't that hungry, and also didn't want to send me back home intoxicated... sooo... I just had some when I got home ;) --April 12 is a special occasion...!!! and I would have had more, but I ran out! ahhaha... but I had a really good time, amz... just being silly with my big sis, especially on April 12 *huggs* :D Thanks for taking time out of studying to meet up with me. :)

So we hung around amy's rez after dinner... it's like a PALACE, it's so nice. uwp (my rez) is decent, but woodsworth is -beautiful-. The kitchen's huge... and they have a big kitchen table... and tall chairs... and pleather couches... and a big washroom... yes, I was -quite- impressed.

Speaking of coffeegirls get togethers, I might be out for the Thursday... company dinner to celebrate end of tax season. They haven't finalized the date yet, so I'll let you girls know.

I can't believe I only have 2 more weeks left. This is too crazy... I'm so not ready for anything schoolish yet. gahh. I bet it will smell like poo... like LOTS of poo cuz it will be hot. yuckkkk.

Alright, I hope that benita and my entries today give you something to read, amz... lol.

HIHI girlies! you guys left me ALL BY MYSELF with nothing to read or doooo, for EIGHT DAYS!! EIIIIGHT DAYS!! and it was the sick one!! (ie. cheryl...sick as in illness, not eeew sick) who had to relieve me from my eight day of bloggerlessness boredom!!! :S it should be illegal!! normally i have like 10 million to catch up on..this time i had zero..BIG FAT ZERO!!!!

hee hee, we are on our cycle!! i didn't get skipped :) it was me, cheryl, ben, and then lil and then meee again!! hee hee, i think i've definitely met my once a month...WITHOUT A DOUBT!! hopefully it won't be another EIGHT DAYS before i have something to read again..altho its been a while since someone wrote since lillian, (exactly FIVE DAYS...3 more days and lil would not have anything to read for EIGHT DAYS..hahaha..okok..im done complaining about my EIGHT DAYS)

okie dokes, cher and me had our date cuz today is april 12 (ie. anniversary of u know what) cher decided that she technically should drink cuz u know..and i should be eating cake b/c i should be celebrating april 12 :)

unfortunately it is a short date, as amy is in midst of exams, and cheryl needs to go and rest. amy should rest too, cheryl says amy looks tired..that is not good, amy normally does not look tired. and cheryl says that amy's hair is very very long, amy agrees, amy is contemplating of getting haircut, what do coffee girls think? trim (ie. 2/3 inches?) or cut (ie. shoulder length) let me know! but i dunno what i will do yet...i like long, but shorter is good for summer, less sweaty :) i know u like to know :D

i am making cheryl laugh..hee hee, cheryl's not helping me b/c she says she's next, i wonder if she's going to wait EIGHT DAYS (just kidding, no more eight days..no more)
amy is a bit psycho right now..as she always is during exams..i hate exams..like we all do

we ate pho today. i had vermicilli. cheryl had pho (ie. noodles with rare beef and no onions, cheryl no like onions or those "gna choys" which i so love and now know are called sprouts..bean sprouts? :D hee hee) we also shared spring rollls and now we are in my residence (of course) as i type this. cheryl likes boys eat boogers when nobody's watching (from my boys are stupid poster) benita, ithink you would like this (lil, you would too, but not as much as benita) b/c benita things boys are REALLLY stupid, and she lieks to MAKE BOYS CRY! ;)

oh and cheryl just said "artificial light" buyt me being deaf thought she said "garbage light" ok, i think i am now rambling on (As i normally do) so its time to end

hey there girls!
i dont' think I've blogged in quite a while! I can't belive school is almost over! anyways....i'm actually a bit surprised at how awake I am at this hour & now i'm pretty sure I'm not one of those girls that get sleepy after drinking. whew! After class today..my roomie dor and I went to LCBO and got some drinks..hm..yummy apple smirnoff & she got her mudslide that she really wanted. It's actually reallly really good!! good suggestions guys!

ooh..so here's a quick update on the upcoming months
april 17, 20, 26: exams
april 27: come home *hopefully, even if I'm driving back by myself*
May 2nd-May 20th: first 3 weeks of work
May 26th-June 4/5th: Off to Paris & ( maybe a trip to new york?)
June 13-Aug 19: working again..
Aug 20-school: nothing..wanna do something ???

and that my girls..is my summer. I promise to get you a cool souvenir in paris and hopefullysomething really interesting l :)

hiii...

SO yes... remember how I was sniffly at the sleepover? I wound up getting sick a few hours after I got home and was sick for most of the week :( but I'm better now...

Sleepover was fun... SOO much chocolate. We actually managed to stay up late chatting... I'm surprised, I thought we had gotten too old for that. ;p am proud to announce that as of today, I have finished my Rochers... lol... like a week behind Benita, but hey. Thanks again for letting us stay over, Lil!

Girls, can I make a suggestion... that we go for coffee on Wednesday the 27th instead of on the Thursday? Cuz lately, GG has been reruns... but OC has been new... lol. I know, I can always tape it, but yeahhhh... :) Let me know if that's alright.

I'm still at 3 for 19 cuz I haven't been getting Timmy's lately... and I forgot to point out to Benita, but you're beating the odds now! :) which is gooood...

*sigh* Gotta go to sleep early, I hafta wake up earlier than usual to do course selection... I -might- be able to get into that elective I wanted, so yeahhh... *crosses fingers*
